I joined the holding company in October 2021 after about eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit, where for the last three years I have been leading audits of mainly locally owned companies.
The main motivation for joining CE Industries was not only to capitalize on the knowledge gained from ACCA studies, but also to gain experience with complex transactional and corporate environments. The attraction for working at CEI was clearly the background of the Czech concern, its story and, last but not least, the range of interesting companies in its portfolio.
As CEI is a young real estate holding despite its size, I have the opportunity to focus on those processes that are really important and effective for management decision-making. From my position as Controlling and Consolidations Manager, I can also participate in pre-acquisition projects in addition to integrating the holding company's reporting rules in foreign acquisitions and consolidations. Specifically, this involves valuations and due diligence in all sectors of the holding, i.e. not only in the railway division, but also in the recycling, energy and now also FMCG sectors.
