MICo shipped the final delivery of storage tanks for the construction of the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station in the UK during January. These vessels are part of the diesel backup system. The six types of oil and diesel tanks the company has manufactured include main storage tanks, each with a capacity of 220 m3. As with any nuclear power supply, the quality of manufacture, testing and documentation had to be demonstrated without compromise and in accordance with the relevant international standards.
Despite the status of the reorganisation, MICo's sales team has been successful in winning so-called collaborative contracts and bringing good and profitable work to the company.
