Strategic Procurement Manager

As part of our recent acquisition of OT Logistics, we are looking for an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager who will take responsibility for developing and managing a centralized procurement strategy across the entire Group. You will play a key role in building a unified procurement model, identifying synergies and cost-saving opportunities, and establishing standards across the organization.
The goal of the role is to create a unified, efficient, and well-governed procurement model while maximizing synergies and savings across the Group.
The position involves relocation to Poland, primarily to the Szczecin area, with close cooperation with operations in Gdynia and Świnoujście. OT Logistics is a major Central European logistics group operating in port services, rail and road transportation, and intermodal logistics. Thanks to its strategic position in key Polish ports, the company plays an important role in European logistics flows.
What will be the scope of your work?
- Develop and implement a central procurement strategy across the OT Logistics Group.
- Identify synergies and implement cost-saving initiatives across the organization.
- Lead tenders and negotiate framework agreements with key suppliers.
- Manage and develop supplier relationships, including regular supplier performance evaluations.
- Optimize procurement processes and establish group-wide standards.
- Analyze procurement data, market trends, and cost structures to improve the efficiency of purchasing activities.
- Cooperate with operational, technical, and finance teams in planning and managing procurement needs.
- Monitor price trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Actively support post-acquisition integration activities and the harmonization of processes across the Group.
What do we expect from you?
- Proven experience in a senior strategic procurement role.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiations and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
- Experience in an international environment; experience in logistics, industry, or infrastructure is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Polish
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High degree of independence, strong results orientation, and the ability to build processes and structures from the ground up.
- Senior management-level role with a high degree of responsibility.
- Willingness to relocate to Poland and travel within the Group.
