We are now looking for a Head of Operations, who will play a pivotal role in leading, optimizing, and scaling Beohemija’s end-to-end operations.
What will your job entail?
Role Mission
This role will have full responsibility for the efficiency, development, and alignment of all operational functions. The role acts as a key strategic partner in driving operational excellence, organizational development, and sustainable growth.
We are seeking a highly experienced operations leader with a strong production background, proven leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex, large-scale organizations in a fast-moving FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all core operational functions, including:
- Providing strategic and operational leadership across all core operational areas
- Driving operational excellence by continuously improving efficiency, productivity, cost structures, and service levels across the organization
- Ensuring the scalability and robustness of operations to support international expansion, portfolio growth, and increased production complexity
- Leading, developing, and empowering a strong operational leadership team
- Establishing clear performance frameworks, KPIs, and governance mechanisms to ensure accountability and transparent decision-making
- Ensuring full compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety standards, while fostering a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement
- Acting as a strategic partner to the General Manager, actively contributing to board-level decisions and group-wide strategic initiatives within CE Industries
What do we expect from you?
Education and Experience
- University degree (technical, technological, engineering, or related field)
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in operations, including substantial experience in senior operational leadership roles
- Experience in a manufacturing FMCG environment (preferably chemical, detergents, or related industries)
- Proven experience in managing complex operational systems and multi-layered teams
Professional Knowledge and Skills
- Deep understanding of end-to-end operations
- Experience in operational excellence, cost optimization, productivity improvement, and KPI systems
- Proven experience in change management, capacity scaling, and supporting business growth
- Leadership and Personal Competencies
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Strategic thinking combined with strong operational execution
- High level of accountability, autonomy, and decision-making capability
- Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Other Requirements
- Excellent command of English (group-level working environment)
- Willingness to work on-site in Zrenjanin
